Garden of Poetry

I have been chastised
For chasing butterflies
When I should not,
Should be watching a phone,
Or figuring figures,
Or configuring configurations.
But there’s a bright moth
Fluttering past the fence.
And I can fathom nothing more intense
Than floating after it for an afternoon.
