Cosmic dust is what we are,Remnants of an ancient star,Drifted to a distant shore,To dance a while in sunlight,Then slip away into the night,Back into

Anything Outdoors with Steve

Anything Outdoors with Steve
In this video, join the Anything Outdoors with Steve Adventure Crew as we explore the dramatic caves of Cueva del Milodón in Chilean Patagonia — a place where deep time touches the earth.
Located about 24 km north of Puerto Natales in the Province of Última Esperanza, Región de Magallanes, the Monumento Natural Cueva del Milodón preserves both geological wonder and the story of life long past.

These caves were carved by ancient glacial-lakes when the ice of the Quaternary retreated some 20,000 years ago. Inside the main cavern you’ll find a life-size replica of the great ground-sloth Mylodon darwinii — a herbivore roughly a tonne in weight that roamed this land until its extinction near the end of the Ice Age.

As we walk the trails, we reflect on the layers of time: majestic rock formations, remains of megafauna and early humans dating back more than 12,000 years. It’s a quiet place, but full of stories: of nature’s scale, of change, and of our own fleeting time in the big picture.

Come along with us on this half-day excursion — less about speed and more about presence, connection and wonder. Let the cave’s echoes be a reminder: we are part of something vast, and every moment matters.
